What are the career opportunities available for an international studentOn-campus part-time employment for international students is limited, with ARAMARK, the food service provider, being a common employer. Students typically work 8–10 hours per week at New York State minimum wage, with a maximum of 20 hours allowed under F-1 visa regulations. Off-campus employment, including internships and co-ops, requires F-1 visa authorization. Graduates can pursue 12 months of post-degree employment, with an additional two years for STEM graduates. The International Center provides support with the necessary documentation for off-campus opportunities.
